Agriculture being the backbone of the economic system of a given country plays a critical role in the entire life of a given economy. The science or practice of farming, including cultivation of the soil for the growing of crops and the rearing of animals to provide food, wool, raw material and other products. In addition, agriculture also provides employment opportunities to a very large percentage of the population.
What are the two main challenges?
There are great expectations for the upcoming period in terms of increasing efficiency and reducing prices. An increased use of renewable energy sources creates two main problems: balancing the system and substituting production when there is no production from renewable sources or when such production is minimal.

Is the extraction of valuable minerals or other geological materials from the Earth, usually from an ore body, lode, vein, seam, reef or placer deposit.
Exploitation of these deposits for raw material is based on the economic viability of investing in the equipment, labor, and energy required to extract, refine and transport the materials found at the mine to manufacturers who can use the material.
